Drivers who don’t identify as male or female in Pennsylvania will soon have the option to select “X” on their driver’s license. The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation made the announcement earlier this week.
The gender neutral change on licenses will begin mid-2020. Other states have been giving the option and Pennsylvania will now join in due to requests from drivers. Legislation is not necessary on the change.
