According to Diving Board Safety.net, there are several dos and don’ts children should know before jumping off a diving board.
Diving Dos:
- Make sure you have adult supervision.
- Check if the diving board was properly installed.
- Practice your dive before jumping.
- Plan your diving path.
- Dive off the end of the board.
Diving Don’ts:
- Never dive alone.
- Don’t dive in the shallow end of a pool.
- Don’t attempt dangerous tricks off the board.
