Dollar Tree Recalling Halloween Lanterns Due to Fire Hazard

Safety Warning: The AP (10/28) reported, “Discount store operator Dollar Tree Stores Inc. is voluntarily recalling some battery-run pumpkin, ghost and skull Halloween lanterns because the bulbs in them may overheat, creating potential fire and burn hazards.” Dollar Tree “aid Thursday that the recall includes about 682,000 lanterns sold for about $1 each in Dollar Tree, Dollar Bill$, Occasions, Deal$ and Dollar Tree Deal$ stores between August and October.”
