Off-duty officer critically injured in Delaware motorcycle accident

The News Journal reported that an off-duty officer was critically injured in a Wilmington motorcycle accident Saturday afternoon. The 40-year-old Delaware motorcycle accident victim was riding his Harley when he lost control. His bike slammed into the center median, where it came to rest.

The officer was treated at the scene for serious motorcycle accident injuries to his head and face. He was wearing a helmet and investigators said that alcohol and speed were not factors in the crash.
