Police Pursuits Lead To Deadly Pennsylvania Auto Accidents

Public Opinion reported that police pursuits have resulted in an increase in fatal Pennsylvania car accidents.
In the last six months, there have been three Pennsylvania auto accident deaths in as a result of police pursuits.
The 2004 Police Pursuit Report states that the number of Pennsylvania pursuits increased from 2,081 in 2003 to 2,233 in 2004.
Pennsylvania police departments may update and revise their current police pursuit policy in order to make their pursuits more safe and effective.
