Belviq
Belviq, a weight loss drug used to treat obesity, has been recalled by the FDA The drug’s manufacturer, Esai Inc, has pulled the drug from the market as of February 2020.
Belviq Health Risks
After a five year study by the FDA it was found that Belviq is linked to an increased risk of cancers. Those cancers include:

- Colon Cancer
- Lung Cancer
- Breast Cancer
- Brain Cancer
The FDA recommends that people prescribed Belviq cease use immediately. The medication also presents numerous other health risks including:
