Marvin Lundy
For almost 50 years, Marvin Lundy has been a personal injury lawyer in Philadelphia. During these years, his firm has earned more than a billion dollars on behalf of his clients. He has worked tirelessly to build his practice into one of the Delaware Valley's outstanding law firms, specializing in cases arising from injuries sustained in automobile accidents, motorcycle accidents, tractor trailer accidents, slip and fall accidents, medical malpractice, products liability, construction accidents, swimming pool accidents, dog bites and pharmaceuticals.
From the start of his career, it has been Mr. Lundy's policy to meet with the firm's personal injury clients. His compassionate understanding of each person's problems and needs enables him to assign the case to those attorneys and support personnel within the firm who are best qualified to manage the particular claim. Mr. Lundy has overseen numerous mass tort claims, among others, Norplant, Baycol, fen-phen, PPA, welding rod, hormone replacement therapy and investment recovery.
Since 1960, Mr. Lundy has been licensed to practice law before the Supreme, Superior and Courts of Common Pleas, of Pennsylvania. He is also licensed to practice before the United States District Court. Mr. Lundy is an active member of a number of legal organizations, including Pennsylvania and Philadelphia Bar Associations; American Bar Association; Philadelphia Bar Foundation; Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association, for which he sat as a Governor for many years and; Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association, for which he serves as a Director.
In 1985, Mr. Lundy was honored by receiving the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association’s President’s award, “for 25 years of unselfish dedication to the aims and objectives of the trial lawyers of this Commonwealth.”
In 1997, Mr. Lundy received the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association’s President’s Award, “in recognition of his role as sage, statesman and trial lawyer leader par excellence.”
Mr. Lundy is a board member, former board member or active member of more than 35 Delaware Valley institutions devoted to law, arts, history, medicine, science, and religion. Marvin Lundy received his Bachelor of Science and Juris Doctor degrees from Temple University.
