Lenard Cohen
Lenard A. Cohen practices law in the field of Pennsylvania workers’ compensation. He has been a sole practitioner for 25 years, having graduated from Temple University with a B.A., and from Delaware Law School of Widener University with a J.D. He is past co-chair of the Philadelphia Bar Association Workers’ Compensation Section. He was the 2004 recipient of the prestigious Martha J. Hampton Memorial Award in recognition of his strong advocacy and commitment to injured workers and honoring his years of dedication, leadership, and service.
He is the past vice president of the Homeless Advocacy Project, a non profit organization dedicated to providing free legal services to the homeless. He is actively involved in civic and community activities. He was selected to the Top 100 List in Pennsylvania and the Top 100 List in Philadelphia in the Pennsylvania Super Lawyers magazine 2005 through 2009.
Mr. Cohen is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and the Federal Courts of both jurisdictions. He is a member of the following organizations: Philadelphia and Pennsylvania Bar Associations; Philadelphia Bar Association Workers' Compensation Section, served as section co-chair, 1996; Representative to the Board of Governors, 1998-1999 and 2004-2005; Philadelphia Bar Association Nominating Committee, 2003-2004; Pennsylvania Bar Association Workers' Compensation Section Council, 1999-2001; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and American Associations for Justice; and the Philadelphia Association of Justice's Board of Governors, 1996-2002.
Mr. Cohen served as a lecturer for programs sponsored by the Philadelphia Bar Association, Philadelphia Bar Education Center, Pennsylvania Association for Justice, and the Pennsylvania Bar Institute. Sample speaking engagements include:

Lastly, Mr. Cohen is the author of American Lawyer Media's Web site of workers' compensation law.
